Business and data analysis for the Australian Government

Dominion Digital Services is a Canberra consultancy, in IT since 1992. We help federal departments and agencies work out what they need. We turn that into work a delivery team can build, and we analyse the data the program produces.

What we do

  • Business analysis

We find out what a program needs from the people who run it. Then we write it down so a team can deliver it.

    • Requirements gathering and documentation
    • Stakeholder engagement and workshops
    • User stories and acceptance criteria
  • Data analysis

We help program areas understand their data and use it in their decisions.

    • Analysis across many source systems
    • Reporting dashboards for program decisions
    • Requirements for data and reporting systems
  • Product ownership

We keep an Agile delivery team working towards the outcomes the agency needs.

    • Backlog and priority management
    • Accepting delivered work against the need
    • Working within Agile delivery teams
  • Cyber security

We help organisations see every device on their networks and keep those networks secure.

    • Network security and network access control
    • Visibility of every device on the network
    • Cyber defence and incident response

We also look after domain names for a small number of long-standing clients and supply hardware by arrangement.

How we work

We work through established consulting partners who hold government panel contracts. An agency engages us through a supplier it already uses. It has no new procurement to run.

We work inside the agency's own team, in Canberra or remotely. We follow its governance, use its tools and work to its timeline.
